Every painting begins with a story. Sometimes it's inspired by a place I grew up in, sometimes by nature, architecture, or memories that quietly stay with us. My work blends traditional Indian influences with a contemporary style to create art that feels both timeless and personal.

Face behind TheSoumyaStudio

Hi, I'm Soumya Jha, the artist behind Soumya Studio.

Art has always been my way of preserving stories—stories of places, traditions, nature, and the little moments that often go unnoticed.
Every artwork is created with the intention of adding more than colour to a space. I want each painting to evoke emotion, start conversations, and become a meaningful part of the homes and workplaces it enters.

Alongside creating original paintings, I also work on commissioned artworks, helping collectors, homeowners, and businesses bring their vision to life through thoughtfully created pieces.

Thank you for being here and supporting handmade art. I hope you find a piece that speaks to your story as much as creating it has spoken to mine.
